About Me:
I'm an artist and a mom. I discovered oils back in 1994 and have been painting ever since. I've shown my work at local cafes and am working hard to take it to the next level. My artistic goal is to to use my paintings as my voice. Since I am such a private person, painting allows me to share with you what I am feeling or experiencing in life. I also adore color. It is like sound to me... there are different volumes to shades and hues. I enjoy putting colors together that wouldn't normally seem pleasant together, kind of like people. Thank you for visiting and for viewing my portfolio! I welcome comments and criticism. P.S. Here's an odd fact about me: when I was a very little girl, I was addicted to looking at color. I went through a phase where I HAD to stare at a particular color. I was kind of like "I NEED to look at brown today" or blue or green, or... It was very odd and I can't really describe it. It was just somehow very satisfying for me to soak in a particular color. Today, I find that color is important to me when I make art.

Reading, Astronomy, Family time, Making art, Outdoor Activities, Photography, Live Music, Watching Films, Traveling, yoga, walking in the desert, exploring new cities, fumbling on the piano, and spending time with my daughter.

I love every kind of music. My favorites include PJ Harvey, Bjork, Tori Amos, Radiohead... and more.
