    I didn't know the person who gave me my start. 3 years ago, I put together the Hot Summer Art Festival in our town, Jacksonville, IL. The director of the local community college asked if I would consider coordinating artwork for their large main room. I suggested I curate the space monthly with art openings. Now, I curate 6 space and am adding a 7th. All but one are public spaces, like our coffee house, a frame shop, a restaurant... I started a Gallery Hop Sept of 06 when other art spaces started opening up in our downtown and started a monthly dinner/opening at the restaurant one year ago this month.
