About Me:
I am not an artist in the traditional sense, I do some graphic design, visual art and fashion design before but now I primarily work in Art Public Relations. My aim is to give exposure to Chinese Contemporary Artists and my clients are primarily collectors, curators and artists. Their aim is concurrent with mine in that they hope that Chinese art can find a spot on the global art platform. Personally, I am a student and my job is more of an internship that stems from my deep interest in contemporary art. I actually study Neuroscience, Art History and Economics at the moment, so I really do have a broad base of interests. I was born in the US but grew up primarily in Hong Kong (lived there for 14 years) and then moved to Canada to study. However most of my extended family is Shanghainese, so I like going back their as well to work and have fun. I absolutely love Europe, so I usually head there at least once a year, I hope to work there one day as it is a place with so much history and culture. I love writing too, I'm not that great but it is a good way for me to keep up with the art scene. I write my blog: asianartnerd.blogspot.com
