Birmingham police chase car in East Lake, find 11-year-old girl driver after crash

An 11-year-old girl is in custody this evening and a man believed to be her father hospitalized after a car they were in almost struck a house in East Lake while the two were fleeing Birmingham police. The girl, police said, was driving the car.
