| Posted 2 months ago First of all I believe the term should be Goddess of ArtBistro. To call her an Art God implies that she has divine power over everyone's art. I believe the former is more appropriate because she is the omnipotent power behind AB. [kind of like the Wizard of Oz but prettier] I've seen enough of the dark to always look for the light in people or situation. |

| Posted 2 months ago Well that makes me very sad to think you don't see me as an artist. I agree I may not be a "fine artist" yet but I was/am a very successful technical artist. I've seen enough of the dark to always look for the light in people or situation. |

Don't be sad... he's from Canada

The way I see it, the *only* difference between fine art and your art, Sheila, is that yours provided a salary and full benefits. No need for the frown - you've got the last laugh on all of us!!! Besides, your sketches kick ass. |

| Posted 2 months ago RF!!!! Good to see you in all your tattered fuzziness! (hugs) I've seen enough of the dark to always look for the light in people or situation. |

| Posted 2 months ago Good chorus on the video Gio. Georgecalle is originally from Ecuador. Perhaps he misspoke? Put in an extra not at the end? If that was not a misstatement, I would have problems with that. Sheila is an artist and the remark was uncalled for. |

| Posted 2 months ago I agree - bad form G. Sheila is a very talented artist and her son is a rising star in photography. Take it back |

Aaah... Jon. That made my day. From an artist I admire...means a lot. As for George misspeaking. Could be. I'm sure he'll respond if he did [If we haven't scared him away by now] I've seen enough of the dark to always look for the light in people or situation. |

| Posted 2 months ago Maybe he was basing his remark off the fact that he read your bio. He might be viewing the fact that you were a police officer by trade and not a career artist full time. (It would be nice if all of us artists could make it as artists and only do art for a living.) It might just be a miscommunication and not an insult. I was trying to discern that earlier today. ~~I am the missing piece to the puzzle not yet brought into being.~~ Stephen Michael Arnold |

| Posted 2 months ago Another lucid and well thought out comment. Two for two..... you're having a banner day AND I am not asking for any photos because I know you are more than capable of producing them on a moment's notice. Thank you ..... well... you might be right but he's still from CANADA... a country that combines the abilty to throw an iron AND sweep a floor... into a national sport
so there 222 journalists and media assistants have been killed in Iraq since March of 2003... more than World Wars 1 & 2, Korea & Vietnam combined. |

| Posted 2 months ago I would have to disagree with the Canadian fella, not because Sheila's work...and I quote "Kick's Derriere" Which it does, not because Gio (as usual) has provided supreme entertainment in the form of video, not because of Steve's eloquent speech, but because I'm from Warshington, and darn it, we're tired of their funny quarters that don't work in our vending machines!
And THAT ladies and Gentlemen is why we don't need Canada
(no Canadians where harmed in the making of this roast)
I know Brokencolor said George was from Ecuador, but Canadians are so much fun to harass!
By the by, has anyone else noticed how cleverly he steered us away from the subject of Valerie? I see skies of blue, clouds of white.

YES... LISTEN TO THIS MAN!!! I'll go that step further... hell... let's start another war... really... how hard would it be to whoop Canada... hardest thing will be to find their capitol (I think they keep moving it)... we go in... one or two platoons... maybe a girl scout troop... topple a couple of statues... bam... we own their country hmmmm... but then again... why would we want to 222 journalists and media assistants have been killed in Iraq since March of 2003... more than World Wars 1 & 2, Korea & Vietnam combined. |

| Posted 2 months ago Sheila's the ArtBistro Queen, by the way. The Queen makes art. Not sure why you think I want to ban you. If you follow the Terms of Use, you can stay as long as you want. Perhaps I gave you a warning. Some ArtBistro users have gotten a warnings and gone on to be top ArtBistro users. Seeing as I don't remember giving you a warning, you can see I'm not omniscient. It is too bad that you started this thread because this, I will surely remember. I have nothing against Canadians or you personally. You seem like a nice enough guy. |

| Posted 2 months ago Valerie, the Goddess of artbistro is an accomplished artist and Sheila the queen of artbistro is also an accomplished artist. I am honored to be in their presence. Nuff said. |

| Posted 2 months ago Yes, the original posts were deleted. The comments made don't appear to make sense to those who didn't see the thread before it was altered. You might be able to discern what went on by all the clever comments though. |

Yes... he pulled a "TF" (Trancefarmer)... posting to incite... and then removing the post. BTW... although Trance is no longer here his posting technique seems to have caught on 222 journalists and media assistants have been killed in Iraq since March of 2003... more than World Wars 1 & 2, Korea & Vietnam combined. |
