Posted 2 months ago Hi, Several ArtBistro users have been involved in a frustrating problem. The problem is that when you message multiple people from your message box, and one of them replies to the message, it is automatically replied to all on the list. There is not option for just reply to the sender unless you delete all from the "To" box before you reply. So please remember not to reply to a message that has been sent to multiple people until we can get the default "reply all" changed. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I apologize to all that this set up has adversely affected. Thanks, Valerie |

| Posted 2 months ago If you have replied to a thread that is automatically "reply all" you will be temporarily banned from ArtBistro until the problem has been fixed. |

One poor soul sent a mass email with the best of intentions - hurricane relief - and every day, someone replies and it goes to EVERYONE. I've been waiting for it to die off, but sure enough, someone else will reply - AGAIN, TO ALL - and the whole cycle starts all over again. Hope you can resolve this soon.

| Posted 2 months ago At least a couple of people did a work around to send out mass emails which created this problem in the first place. The system was not designed to handle that. Who could foresee someone putting in hundreds of names? In one case info was already sent out through groups and in the forum. Members of groups used to be able to send out mass emails and abused that. Hence the change to what we have now. Although I think it is unfortunate that small regional or critique groups willing to get group emails do not have that option any more. Instead they have to post on the forum, which clogs it up even more what with all the new word games that have been created in the last month. Some people may form groups now so they can send group emails frequently. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Thought I bring this back up since people are starting to send out huge mass emails again. You may want to look at the first post. Just to add to the above post., even more games have been added by a couple of individuals. I like the fun topics, but word games created by a couple of people are now controlling the forum at times. I try to time responses to art topics around them but often fail. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Guess I'm a lucky one, haven't gotten any mass e mailings (hope I didn't just jinx myself) But I do agree, the games are getting a bit tiresome. I'm looking forward to everything that gets fixed/changed at this site, will eventually will make it a nicer place to hang out. Glad my friends here haven't bailed out I see skies of blue, clouds of white.

| Posted 11 days ago I did one of those game things today and I think I accidentally spammed all my friends even after I thought I had de-selected everyone from the part that invites your friends to play. It's very sneaky, doesn't warn you that it's going to send the invitation, it only says it's going to compare your results with your friends and I assumed it was just going to see who else had played the game. Then when I looked at my sent mail I discovered it had sent the invite to everyone :-( I really really didn't mean to do that! Is this what you're talking about in this thread?
