My paintings were used several months ago for the filming of the 2 Hour Special of Fox's "Kitchen Nightmares" airing tonight on Fox at 8 p.m. EST.  The producers rented my paintings to decorate a NJ restaurant for Chef Gordon Ramsey's followup visit to see how the restaurant is faring since he first visited them in 2007.  Hopefully my paintings won't end up on the cutting room floor.  There is my 15 minutes of fame

 If your work doesn't get on the cutting room floor, it sounds like you will class things up at Fox. Congratulations. I'll watch.

 Congratulations. Can't say I'm all that surprised though. L

 ejcawth told me her paintings appear around 9:30 Western Time on on Fox (channel 2 in No. California I think). Mountain Time viewers can still catch it. Thought I would give a heads up. Thats now-Thursday Sept. 4th.

Your Water Lily really got a tremondous amount of air time!!!  Everyone of your babies looked beautiful.  You should be so proud!!!

 That was cool. At first I saw some quick shots with just a glimpse of your paintings, but towards the end they were used as a strong background. Congratulations. I wonder if they are going to rotate artists. Otherwise they should just buy your paintings. It was neat you were able to rent them. I had a good experience in a restaurant in the bay area (S.F). Put a show up and sold. Good outlet for work. Your paintings added to the restaurants ambiance. It is to your credit that they had them there. I bet they made the food taste better.

  

They did get some good exposure.  I find in my area, establishments like restaurants, bars, cafes and lounges are the current venue for artists to have shows.  It is a win win situation for both the artist and owner.  I have done a couple shows this way and it was quite successful.  I hope Campania considers this.  They would really benefit from it.   It was very nice though to be paid to rent out my work and still retain my paintings.

so glad you posted this.  i tuned in late the other night and didn't get to see the entire segment.  SO HAPPY FOR YOU.  the paintings just glow and catch your eye.  how fantastic for you ellen.  I WANT SOME OF THOSE MEATBALLS. 

Thanks Angela.  They are actually quite delicious.  I have had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant after the shoot and I was impressed especially Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in my neck of the woods.
